    case edit(title: String)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
   switch self {
        case .done(let title):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let title):
            return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)

Your button constant is wrong. You should use your previous constant to call on the button method, since you assigned the done case value to it. Like this:

let button = done.button()
