Code won't pass

I don't know why my code doesn't pass the task of 'looping through every value of items and if the index 0 of that item is "a", skip to the next one. Otherwise, print out the member'

breaks.py 
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for i in items:
        if i[0] = "a":
            continue
        else:
            print (i)

Hi Ryan - Use == to check for equality.
