While watching this video, I just realized that only GirdPane has fx: Controller and other stuff with it, whereas other Nodes (Text, Button) didn't have that kind of stuff with them, can someone please explain to me why is that the case? As far as I can think its because GridPane is the main node and everything is in it

UX Design Techdegree Graduate 22,796 PointsGridPane is the parent and provided so the child elements don't need to declare the controller.
In fact the code works fine if you omit "fx:controller="sample.Controller"
This line just points to the package that contains Controller.java class.
