You are on the right track, and basically have it, with the exception of a minor typo. It appears in your code that there is a space between :nth-child and (4n), make sure there is not a space.

@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
  #gallery li {
   width: 28.3333%;
  }
  #gallery li:nth-child(4n) {
   clear: left;
  }
}

Thanks so much mikes, do you need the 4n is that standard?

Christopher,

It depends what you are trying to accomplish, 4n selects every 4th item, where just 4 by itself would only select the 4th item, for example. For more information on nth-child I definitely recommend the article on CSS Tricks, it explains it very well: https://css-tricks.com/how-nth-child-works/
