I've tried it every way, I've used ul, li, ul and li, 0.9em, .9em

The ul is the element that has the class "contact-info". So you don't want to use a descendant selector.
You can use ul.contact-info
or the class by itself .contact-info
Also, there's a hyphen in there. You have a period between "contact" and "info"
