I'm getting a bummer! null message when I go to check my work: I've passed all the way to this point. It says to change the h1 css color to green. What am I doing wrong, we haven't gone over other ways to write color besides spelling it out yet? Why is it wrong?

<style>
h1 {
color: green;
}
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
</style>

you have that h1 tag inside the style tags, it needs to be below the opening and closing style tags, not inside it. everything else looks good

I just wanted to check to see that you have your style tag set up as below:
<body>
<style>

}
</style>
<h1>Nick Petit</h1>
