Cloning a repo with a URL?

Hi! I wanted to know, when I clone a repo on the terminal using a URL, do I have to use quotes around the URL? I tried it with and without on the Treehouse question part of the course, and both worked. Which one is the right way? Thank you!

As long as it works both ways, either should be fine. I see most people cloning without quotes.
