Charset? what is that.

Why is this not working! Thank you! :)

you just declared it wrong.

<meta charset="UTF-8">

Just need an equals sign instead of a colon. For example...

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

As to what a charset is... well that is a topic I leave to other experts. ;D

Missed that part.

In a nutshell it tells the browser what character set to use (English, Japanese, etc..) HTMLGoodies has a good short write up on it.
