2,111 PointsChallenge Task 2 of 2: String Interpolation
Here's what I wrote for the challenge:
// Enter your code below let firstValue = 1 let secondValue = 2 let product = firstValue * secondValue let output = "The product of" + (firstValue) + "times" + (secondValue) + "is" + (product)
This failed the challenge. What am I doing wrong?
// Enter your code below
let firstValue = 1
let secondValue = 2
let product = firstValue * secondValue
let output = "The product of", \(firstValue), "times", \(secondValue), "is", \(product)

1,465 PointsString Interpolation requires everything to be in one string, then we mention the variable/constant with a \ and (name) just like you did. So the way to fix it would be to just put everything together with no commas or concatenation
let output = "The product of \(firstValue) times \(secondValue) is \(product)"
