Hi, My code is attached below - I understand that this will not give "true" as a boolean response, but how would I do that without changing the code given?
Also, the error message I am receiving is that the syntax on line 1 is invalid - this is the code already given?
Thanks!
admitted = None
admitted = "True" if:
age >= 13

The syntax is a bit off there - that layout would work in some languages, but not Python. The syntax is:
if condition:
# do something
Your condition is whether age is 13 or more. The 'do something' is setting admitted
to True
. Bear in mind True
is not a string so there's no need for inverted commas.
I hope that helps,
Steve.
