1,525 PointsChallenge Task 1 of 2 shopping list break. I don't feel lost but not sure what I am doing wrong.
I basically rewrote the shopping list we did in the video and it worked then. I am assuming that is what they are asking for if not then I guess I just don't understand what they want.
def loopy(items):
while TRUE:
new_thing = input("> ")
new_thing.upper()
items.append(new_thing)
if new_thing == 'DONE':
break
print("Your items list")
for item in items:
print(item)
def loopy(items):
while TRUE:
new_thing = input("> ")
new_thing.upper()
items.append(new_thing)
if new_thing == 'DONE':
break
print("Your items list")
for item in items:
print(item)

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsyou just need to do only what the challenges ask. it doesn't ask for user input, print messages, upper, appending etc. your last two lines is it for task 1. just indent it properly and delete the extra space after item

1,525 PointsThank you, James, I had only put what it was asking for but I was still not completing correctly due to the syntax errors you mentioned. I had been trying to get it to work for quite some time to no avail that's when my crazy mind went into over thinking it mode and added all the extra code. However thanks for the help.
