CSS How to Make a Website Styling Web Pages and Navigation Make a CSS Image Gallery

Challenge not accepting my answer, how do I answer this correctly?

Preview comes out right, and this is how we did it before. I also tried putting {color:} into #gallery li , although that didn't have the desired effect. Here I even tried just doing both, and that still wasn't it. I did put values in, and tried different ones even.

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

img {
  max-width: 100%;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a:hover {
  color: #32673f;
}

h1 {
  font-family: Changa One, sans-serif;
  font-size: 1.75em;
  font-weight: normal;
}

#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

#gallery li {
  float: left;
  width: 45%;
  margin: 2.5%;
  background-color: #011255;
  color: red;
}

#gallery li a p {
  color: #fff;
}

That did it. Must have been a glitch, as you said. Thank you so much.

Chris, because this answer was given as a comment instead of through the 'Answer' field I could not select it as the Best Answer. If you would paste it within the correct field I will give you the credit you earned. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Jason,

I just tried your code minus the selector for #gallery li a p and it worked as expected, try running through the challenge again as in some rare cases it can glitch slightly causing an incorrect answer error to trigger.

Thanks again, Chris

Hi Jason,

I've just tried this and got the same thing at first but then tried again. The second time I waited for the preview to load the changes each time (just in case it was a little delayed) and it worked with the following code by the last part of the challenge:

img {max-width: 100%;}

#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

#gallery li {
  float: left;
  width: 45%;
  margin: 2.5%;
  color: white;
  background: tomato;
}

Hope it helps.
