Catch block not working in coding challenge

For some reason the catch block I added at the bottom isn't getting recognized by the program. I checked the output and there are no errors, so I'm not sure where the problem is. I did notice that System namespace is used when the exception is thrown whereas it isn't in the console commands. I tried it with and without the namespace and still get the same error.

Program.cs
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
    throw new Exception();
}

try
{
    Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(Exception)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}

Wrap the try around the if statement. You also forgot to give the Exception a variable name.

int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

try
{

if (value < 0 || value > 20)
{
    throw new Exception();
}

    Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
}
catch(Exception e)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Value is out of bounds!");
}
