- you need to throw the exception before you increment
lapsDriven
andbarCount
. If they pass in bad data you need to throw the exception and prevent the rest of the function from executing and changing the state. - you need to compare
laps
tobarCount
notMAX_BARS
. This is the current state of the battery, not the maximum state that it would be when it's charged to the maximum.
