Can't type into code challenge window

Sometimes, I can't type into the code challenge window. I have to reload the page which resets the challenge to the start. Not a bad thing because I need the practice, but a little annoying. I've used safari and chrome and the error happens with both browsers but not all the time. Maybe there's an extension that I'm using that conflicts with treehouse?

This happens to me if I scroll down the page and try and click into the code editor. Scrolling backup and clicking in the first few lines of the editor solves the issue for me. Slightly annoying!

I have also had this hapen but if I refresh the page it re-starts the challenge. Unfortunately this takes you to step 1 and you may have to re-do work, but it seems to happen more often if I log in to Treehouse, step away and come back after my computer has entered sleep mode. Not sure why, but it apparently confuses my browser/Treehouse.

I've been able to solve the problem by either reloading the page or logging out and back in again. Not sure if one works over the other. But, neither method works every time. Starting over is a hassle but i can look at it as practice. Taking the time to reload, log out/log in though is annoying and kind of ruins the flow of the lesson. Thanks for the tips. much appreciated.
