i get Welcome to Microsoft Telnet Client

and when i write "telnet httpbin.org 80" i get Invalid Command. type ?/help for help

231,172 PointsThe command "telnet httpbin.org 80" would be given to the system to run "telnet" and make a connection at the same time. But you're already running "telnet" when you give it, and that's not a valid command from inside "telnet".
Since "telnet" is already running, the command to make the connection would be "open httpbin.org 80" instead.
