<a href="https://twitter.com/webdesignhr"><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter Logo" class="social-icon"></a>

after alt="Twitter Logo" you are missing the class=""social-icon"

That's not it.

I have not done anything with css yet.

where the images should be there is a icon that shows like a broken image, and if i put a different image in it works. i have re-uploaded the wrap images.

If I inspect the page in my browser it looks like it is not seeing the line of code for the Facebook wrap. I somehow got the Twitter wrap working now. Here is how the browser is seeing the html

<footer>
      <a href="http://twitter.com/nickrp"><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twtter Logo" class="social-icon"></a>
      <a href="http://facebook.com/nickpettit"></a></footer>

add the src=, alt = and class just like you did for the Twitter .

Ah, but the code that I posted first is what is actually there. This is kind of odd...

Got the same issue. Wraps not showing.

I had to add the class element like Irma was saying, but it didn't work right at first which was odd.
