For the question "Set the character set for the page", I have tried:
<meta>
<meta />
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<meta></meta>
<meta charset="utf-8"></meta>
and nothing is working. I don't know if this is a glitch or maybe I am making this too complex for what it is asking for.

Cool name by the way! I can't see your code, so I'm not exactly sure what you tried (you should check out this post for tips on how to post code), but in order to set the character set, you need to put a line of code that looks like
<meta charset="utf-8">
between your <head></head>
tags.
