if (firstExample.equals("secondExample")) { console.printf("first is equal to second"); }
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
if (firstExample.equals("secondExample"))
{
console.printf("first is equal to second");
}
String secondExample = "hello";

- Your String variables should be up on top.
- In your if statement you should remove the quotes from "secondExample" otherwise you are testing a String with that content instead of the variable with that name.
