Can't figure out what this challenge wants

Why is this not working? The error message I get tells me to check that I'm using "this", dot notation, and inside the method. All are true, and I've tried a variety of things already. What is wrong here?

      if (this.isTurn === true){

Hi Hanna Zeif ,

I believe the question is asking you to exclusively use dot notation inside the method, however your code is also correct.

const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
      // use dot notation only. No need to include === true for boolean values.
      if (this.isTurn){
      }
    }
}
