Courses Plus Student 2,449 PointsCan't drag object into the swatches panel.
When I try to drag my circle into the swatches panel, it just moves underneath the panel. Anyone else run into this?

18,756 PointsI had the same issue in the same Ai version. I found that if I use the Direct Selection Tool (A) that I was able to add it like Mat explains. Also, was able to add it by doing Object > Expand while the object was selected.
Must be an Adobe bug that prevents it from doing it initially using the Selection Tool? Hope that helps.

Courses Plus Student 2,449 PointsThis seems like it may be an illustrator cc 2015 bug.
I chose object>pattern>make and that worked. afterwards I was able to drag it into the swatch panel and create a duplicate of the pattern. Then I cmd+z to undo both and I could drag it in to create a pattern. But then I couldn't again later....
Am I just missing someting?
