Can't create a bool variable - please help.

I've tried to create a bool variable in the code challenge - but I didn't succeeded. I've tried out the code in Xcode and there are no complaints except that I do not use the variables I've declared.

BOOL isMediumSize; int inchesTall = 45;

What's wrong with it? Output.html generates the message 'too many errors emitted…'
