can't activate the coding sheet

trying to create variable name = "Tom", but the coding sheet won't activate. I can see a faint "1" line number. Am using chromium on Kubuntu 14.04.

I switched to Firefox browser and coding sheet works, but it's hard to read.

Switched to Firefox browser and the coding sheet works. Apparently Treehouse and Chromium (not Chrome) don't work together.
