When i type the following: int randomNumber = new randomGenerator.nextInt(3);
Android studio gives a cannot resolve symbol for nextInt(3). I cannot figure out why it is so.

The code should be as follows. Note the use of Random() instead of randomGenerator()
int randomNumber = new Random().nextInt(3);
