5,396 Points"Cannot Open Administrator" error?
I installed exactly as the video showed for Windows, and it worked just fine that day of using it.
Now to this video a few days later, I can't open the local server administration (right column) with the aforementioned error with the description: The selected server does not have a MySQL server connection assigned and cannot be opened.
When I try to open the left column and get the error "Cannot Connect to Database Server", description: Your connection attempt failed for user 'root' from your host to server at localhost:3306:.
I've tried looking up this problem but the solutions don't make sense. Most point to managing the server administration, but that's exactly my problem.
I re-installed and started over. This time I can access the left column (it prompts for a password and I can continue on in the video for now), but I still have no access to the server administration section.

5,396 PointsSo every time I restart or shut down my computer, I had to re-install MySQL all over again.
After taking a couple hours checking on Stack Overflow, I have to use the Search function for "Services" on Windows, to find View Local Services. From there I have to manually start the MySQL server. It basically replaces the need to re-install MySQL every time, but I still can't access the Server Administration column.
I guess it's to be expected since these videos are over 2.5 years old and sorely out-dated to the point where it takes more time problem-solving than progressing.
