I simply cannot find the mistake, could anyone help me out please?
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) {
console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");
}

17,657 PointsRe-read the challenge:
Add another if statement that checks if the firstExample is equal ignoring case to thirdExample. If it, is print out "first and third are the same ignoring case".
I suspect that you replaced the code from the first challenge with the code from the second challenge, causing the second challenge to fail.

2,950 Pointsyour code is right but you have to use the previous task, don't delete it:
if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) { console.printf("first is equal to second"); }
