Cannot commit the readme file in this stage. I type "git commit" and then it shoots out all in one go the following:
git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
git config --global user.name "Your Name"
to set your account's default identity.
Omit --global to set the identity only in this repository.
fatal: unable to auto-detect email address (got 'artie1991@AlexArtlettPC.(none)')
- I am using windows 8
- did I stuff up the setting your email part up? (I set my gmail email address to try and get ssh key for the php laravel project.)
what do I need to do to rectify this?
