I believe I have fulfilled all the requests and I've checked behind the editor feature and it all looks good to me. I'm at a loss now.
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
display_menu = menu.format(display_menu)
