10,673 PointsCan you run the remove_filter function directly in the functions.php file, or must you call it from another file?
Just curious if in is necessary to call such functions from other files, or can you run them directly in functions.php to achieve the same goal.

11,177 PointsYou can basically run anything through the functions file as long as you use the correct hooks otherwise it might return an error. It's a maze the way Wordpress is built but the point is to require less programming skills.
