Hi sir, I have problem of my permalink, when i create a navigation menu and go to settings > Permalink Settings > Common Settings : i was select by Day and name or by Post name but when i click on the navmenu link i get :
Not Found The requested URL /wp/blog/ was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 Server at localhost Port 80
Notice : i use AppServ Local Software.

I'm also having this problem.
When permalinks are set to default the site works fine, but when set to any other option I get the dreaded 404.
Another student here posted that he had the same issue, but when the site was transferred to a live server the issue disappeared; this might be a clue for you to help decipher the problem...
