I was wondering about Treehouse, I know there is another program called Skillcrush that pretty much guarantees that you will be job ready by the time you finish and it is cheaper than the TechDegrees here, also they teach far more for the cheaper amount. I am wondering if I can get job ready by just using the monthly library deal on here and focusing on the tracks? The monthly here is a good deal but I am not sure If i will be ready to find a job, I am 40 and I am afraid I won’t be able to get a job with Treehouse but I truly love the way they teach ..

14,242 PointsBro, according to my experience, anybody claiming to teach you coding and getting you job-ready after you finish their course, from beginner noob to professional chad in a couple of months, seems very unrealistic to me. There are so many aspects of being a job-ready programmer, it's not just that if you're done with a course you have learned professional programming. If your intention is to learn quickly and be job-ready after 6 months, there is a good chance of you being disappointed and give up on coding.
If It were me, I would give at least 2 months to Treehouse and 2 months to Skillcrush, to see which works well for me. The key point is that keep learning every day, even 15 mins in a day just don't stop, learning a skill takes time, effort, and patience.
P.S: You mentioned age, I suspect you've fallen into a well of "I think I'm too old for this" or "Maybe it's too late". First thing if you compare yourself to others, you'll be stuck in the dwelling of your younger self or be blind of the opportunities right in front of you.
