1,302 PointsCan someone please help me with this code challenge ? I have no idea what I have done wrong. :(
Basically , I am having a hard time solving this problem .
The error that keeps popping up is :
./ScrabblePlayer.java:20: error: cannot find symbol boolean hasTile = tiles.indexof(tile) != -1;
public class ScrabblePlayer {
// A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
private String tiles;
private char tile ;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
tiles = "";
}
public String getTiles() {
return tiles;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Add the tile to tiles
tiles += tile ;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
boolean TileIn = tiles.indexof( tile) != -1;
if(TileIn)
{
return true;
}
else {
return false;
}}
}
