Couple of things, the for statement needs to be indented. Where you have said "items" in the for statement, this doesn't need to be a previously defined variable, just make up a name like 'stuff'. Then when you've said "in loopy" your referencing the function when you should be referencing the variable passed into loopy which is "items".
e.g. def loopy(items): for stuff in items: #do things to the stuff
