Can someone elaborate on the warning that appears while installing Git (at 3:57)?

The warning appears under the section "Adjusting your Path environment" and says "This will override Windows tools like find.exe and sort.exe. Select this option only if you understand the implications." What exactly does this mean? Will selecting this option have a negative effect on my computer?

Windows has the "CMD - command prompt" program which provides an old "MS-DOS" interface. It it similar in style to the Unix prompt but has different helper programs. Some of these helper programs are "sort" and "find". Typing "where find" will show the location of these programs. Example: "C:\Windows\System32\find.exe". Git is saying that it will install it's own versions of sort and find that will be used instead of the versions installed with Windows. Since most people never use the CMD-Command Prompt they will never notice the new find and sort since they didn't use the old ones. After installing git, typing "where find" should show the new program that came with git.
