Can I use Photoshop Elements for this?

Hey there,

I'm trying to teach myself Photoshop, but I don't want to shell out the cash for the full industrial version if I won't be using all of the features.

Will Photoshop Elements 14 have enough functionality for me to be able to do this course?

Cheers!

Jonathan

It's been a while since I took this course myself, but I believe that elements would be suitable for the vast majority of the material if not the entire course.

But if turns out you need more than what Elements covers (or if you don't already own it either), Adobe products (including Photoshop) have a 30-day trial period which should be adequate time to compete the course as long as you work on it regularly.

Yes. It should be almost the same. It is less about being able to do what they say in photoshop, and more about learning techniques. Remember, there are a ton of web art tools available in both free and paid versions. Personally, I prefer paint.net. Photoshop courses always still help me know more about how to use those techniques in other programs.

If you need to, consider doing the trial period and applying what you learn to other programs when the trial is complete.
