Courses Plus Student 277 PointsCan I use Git Bash to follow along this course?
I prefer working on an actual software on my laptop. I think it is more convenient for me. Should I install Linux partition, or will Git bash work fine? My laptop is already running a windows 8 OS.

I advise Bash. It is much better that CMD, and used everywhere especially among developers.
That is one of the reasons why now in Windows is possible to use Bash

6,439 PointsI prefer working on an actual software on my laptop. By priority for Win OS is recomended:
- Git Bash - easy to install (require about 3 min)
- VM (Virtual Box) + Ubuntu - easy to install, but require at least 40 min (5-10 min for installing VM and 30min to install Ubuntu and voila! :))
My option is 2 (VM+Ubuntu) in case you ready to spent than 5 min
