Can i use Brackets to code in while following long to the videos?

Day to day I use sublime its just what I got used to and everyone has there own editor they prefer, but the way treehouse has the course content and files pre loaded into workspaces for most of the courses on here I would say that the easiest and most efficient way to learn on treehouse is to utilize workspaces. It will allow you to learn faster and to be honest it is a pretty good text editor to. It is set up with all the common shortcuts and tools you would find anywhere else including a nice code completion feature I do like.

The next great thing about using workspaces if only while on treehouse is the snapshot feature(camera in top right), this will give you a link to a snapshot of your code that you can post directly to the forum. This is becoming a great way to let others see your work and help debug your code if you get stuck.

There are a few more features than that and you can do a quick workshop on it here, this will show you the ins and outs.

Consider it if only while doing your treehouse course you will reap the rewards!
