4,156 PointsCan I be proficient enough to get a job if....
I dedicate an hour or two to coding/learning code (meaning actually doing the tracks here, writing and looking up code html, css, and/or javascript) every OTHER day for 6 months?
Or do most people who get junior positions have to put in a lot more effort? I have other obligations, so I feel that an hour every other day is a manageable pace, but I wonder if it's not enough.
My goal is to get a job by December.

6,919 Pointsno. it takes up to around three years to be good enough for a job. thats why I started when i was 16. I spent actually around 4 hours a day 5 days a week. learning or building projects. it's not about learning its about building, if you have experience building your a good employee, if you just come here to learn and expect a job then you wont get very far.

I've heard the average is 6 months to 1 year of studying/building. I'm just unsure how much time they've sunk into it.
