963 PointsCan anyone help me with this Do While loop?
I just can't seem to get it....
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response ;
do { response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
if (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no")) { console.printf("are you sure? ")); } } while (response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"));

57,712 PointsHi Isaac,
If you remove all parts of the if
statement, your code is fine!
I'll copy the code you need from your post above; this is your code, not mine:
String response ;
do { response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while (response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"));
I removed, as unnecessary:
if (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no")) { console.printf("are you sure? ")); }
That should work for you.
Steve.
