Hi all,
I'm very new to all the business stuff.
Does anyone know if a C Corporation is a type of Corporate Structure in Australia, and if it generally mimics the advantages/disadvantages explained in this video regarding American C Corporations?
Also, if it does not, I'd be greatly appreciative if someone could let me know what the Australian equivalent of a C Corporation is?
Thank you in advance!

I think you can start your research at this site: http://www.business.qld.gov.au/business/starting/business-startup-options/business-legal-structures/company-structure. From the info on this website, it looks like the Australian "company" mirrors the US C Corp at least in a general sense with regard to issues of tax structure, liability, and organization.
A privately held C Corp seems to be called "proprietary limited" in Australia.
However, I'm completely unqualified to give advice on Australian corporate law, so do not consider this legal advice. =)
