JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Introducing JavaScript Using the Console

Bummer! Make sure you put the console.log() function before the `document.write()` function.

This is the message i get but i thought i had it before the document.write() function. Help me please

My bad it should because you are also calling the alert function when you call the alert function the treehouse compiler gets the first statement from the alert rather than from the console.log so just remove the alert statement and your code should work.

There is just a basic typo in your code you forgot to put the semi-colon at the end of the console.log statement.

console.log("Begin Program");

That is one solution but after fixing that it is still telling me the same result...hmmm
