8,720 PointsBummer! I don't know why this won't work in Workspaces.
Attached is my code. I made roll into a classmethod. When I run the code in Pycharm I can get the total of two D20's by calling print(Hand.roll(2).total). but it doesn't work in Workspaces.
import random
class Die:
def __init__(self, sides=2):
if sides < 2:
raise ValueError("Can't have fewer than two sides")
self.sides = sides
self.value = random.randint(1, sides)
def __int__(self):
return self.value
def __add__(self, other):
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
def __repr__(self):
return str(self.value)
class D20(Die):
def __init__(self):
super().__init__(sides=20)
from dice import D20
class Hand(list):
def __init__(self, sides=0, die_class=None, *args, **kwargs):
super().__init__()
for _ in range(sides):
self.append(die_class())
self.sort
@classmethod
def roll(cls, size):
return cls(sides=size, die_class=D20)
@property
def total(self):
return sum(self)

231,269 PointsI tried copying the code above and pasting it directly into the challenge, and it passed.
Give it another try, perhaps after restarting your browser.
