Bummer: ContactDao's findById method was not called

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I looked in the forum and it appears my code matches up to what is expected. I am not sure if I have a spelling error or if I am missing something.

com/teamtreehouse/contactmgr/service/ContactService.java
package com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.service;

import com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.model.Contact;

public interface ContactService {
    Contact findById(Long id);
}
com/teamtreehouse/contactmgr/service/ContactServiceImpl.java
package com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.service;

import com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.dao.ContactDao;
import com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.model.Contact;
import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowired;
import org.springframework.stereotype.Service;

@Service
public class ContactServiceImpl implements ContactService {
    @Autowired
    private ContactDao contactDao;

    @Override
    public Contact findById(Long id) {
        return null;
    }
}

Your findById method always returns null. For the second task, you need to change that by editing the method and making it call the findById method of the contactDao object.
