8,817 PointsBummer! a section element needs to be within body tags... but mine are nested within these tags and i still get error.
They seem to pretty well be nested in the body...?
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8"/>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<header></header>
<footer></footer>
</body>
</html>

14,600 PointsFirst, I have to praise you fore the use of Markdown Cheatsheet... Thanks :) Although I'm guessing, I think you have to add a <section> element.
Try this code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8"/>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<header></header>
<section></section>
<footer></footer>
</body>
</html>

28,880 PointsThere was no section element added. It goes between header and footer, like this:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8"/>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<header></header>
<section></section>
<footer></footer>
</body>
</html>
