For some reason I have bullets for each of my images, although I have followed along. Below is my code written thus far.

First off, I have edited your post to include markdown so that the code you posted is readable in the Community Forums. Please refer to the markdown cheatsheet on how to post code.
As to your question, if I remember correctly, where you are in the course, the bullet points are normal. In a future lesson, Nick will teach you how to remove those with CSS, as Normalize.css no longer does this for you. If you want to play around with it, the rule is list-style: none;
, but this will be taught a little bit later.
