Even after adding the normalizing style sheet my images still have bullet points next to them. why is this?

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsHi Rohan,
At the end of that last video NIck makes it a point to show that the navigation list no longer has bullet points. NIck doesn't scroll down the images to show the bullets but the images would still have bullet points at this point in the project.
This is because the older version (1.1) of normalize that is being used in this project only removes bullet points from lists within the nav
element. So at this point in time you should expect to have them next to your images.
From normalize v1.1.3:
nav ul,
nav ol {
list-style: none;
list-style-image: none;
}
Since the gallery list isn't nested inside a nav element these styles will not apply.
The newest version of normalize.css doesn't remove any bullet points from lists. So if you were to switch over to the latest you would even have bullet points on your navigation.
The bullet points will get removed later when you start writing "main.css"
Some snippets from main.css:
nav ul {
list-style: none;
margin: 0 10px;
padding: 0;
}
#gallery {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
}
So that first rule removes the bullet points from the navigation which technically the old version of normalize is already doing for you. And the second rule is removing the bullet points from the gallery images.
So you should be fine once you progress up to this point.

33,856 PointsRohan, I don't think normalize.css removes bullet points from lists since that's not a default desired result.
But here you can do that with:
ul {
list-style-image: url(images/image.png);
}
For more information you might check out the link here.
