Treehouse TeacherHi there! There currently seems to be a problem with Java challenges across the board. Another moderator and I have reported it to Treehouse staff. I hope they get it fixed soon!

20,367 PointsAny progress to this? I finally got some time to sit down and learn and I'm stuck because of this. It's failing the pre-existing code on a challenge with "Illegal start of expression".

Courses Plus Student 14,709 PointsHi Benjamin, I posted my own question about that. If you want to follow: https://teamtreehouse.com/community/javatesterjava65-error-illegal-start-of-expression You can just skip the exercises and do them later (just click on the white circle representing the next lesson, located above the exercise window) . It won't give you a badge when you complete a course, but at least you can progress... I'm doing this and plan on coming back and doing the exercises later to get the badge and finish the course.
