Hi guys, first off thanks so much for thinking to put a bootstrap course on here, it seems to be a really valuable tool.
I was wondering if there was any intention to redo the tutorial series at some point? I'm doing the bootstrap 4 basics course and although I'm trying to follow along (using the original version used in the video) bootstrap has changed so much that only about 1/5 of the content can still be applied, which means 4/5 of the classes use no longer work (either they don't exist, they've been phased out or something else). Which in turn means the final product for me is a jumbled, unusable mess etc. It'd be really great to get the course amended so it is still relevant today. Thanks a lot!

This is a common problem as frameworks and technologies are constantly evolving and changing. My advice to you would be to view the course to get a theoretical understanding of how Bootstrap classes and components operate. Then, reference the most recent Bootstrap documentation to build your website. Use the documentation to get the most recent class names for the most recent version of Bootstrap. Or, you could download the exact version of the Bootstrap that is used in the Treehouse course, therefore all the classes used throughout the tutorial will work as long as you are using the same version that Treehouse is using in their course.
Hope that help. Let us know if you need any more help or clarification.

15,668 PointsHi Kevin, cheers for your comment, I am using the exact one from the course, but the documentation is completely different and the output is completely different. (I have triple checked it's the right one and it definitely is.) I just think the bootstrap people have changed their website to the point where the course is basically not of use to learning bootstrap. Since I pay for this service I just really wanted to mention it, obviously courses do change and it's no ones fault, and I appreciate that the courses take a long time to make but this one is quite important to front end development and it's so very different and not useful as an educational resource now for me. It'd be great to know if they intend to update it etc.
