HTML & CSS and also JavaScript & Jquery by Jon Duckett, both are really good guides for beginners with lovely layouts and visuals and are an excellent resource to refer back to!
PHP and MYSQL Bible by Tim Converse, a little outdated now but still a really in depth look into php and mysql!!
The C Programming Language by Brian Kernigha
Clean Code by Robert Cecil Martin
Not a programming book but i highly recommend The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman, especially if you're going to be designing experiences for people!

If you are looking for big classic long paper book, c# c++ the best chose is Deitel and is a good book about datatypes. (1kg) If you are looking for a fast digital well done book, packtpub has a grate collection and offers 50% good price or in Christmas 80% off.
It is fan to learn code while making games (I recommend Unity). You should pick up a C# book while you're at it. If you are looking for HTML & CSS book for web page layout or PHP and MYSQL for web service database, Grace Kelly up here has the best recommendation for you. You must choose the code first. if you do not know what to choose, in my personal opinion videos are better and much faster.
