22,832 PointsBohemian Sketch vs. Adobe Illustrator?
I've been using Illustrator to export graphics for web & mobile for years, but Sarah's presentation on Sketch in the iOS Design module has me thinking twice about my workflowโฆjust curious if there are any other Illustrator jockeys out there who've switched their Boolean & Bezier allegiances?

13,124 PointsI recently switched to Sketch and love it for logo design and quick web prototypes. I'm hoping they will offer support for AI files in the future, because as streamlined as it is, I find it's lack of AI support frustrating. It honestly feels a lot more like an Adobe Fireworks replacement rather than a full blown vector solution like Illustrator.
I still use Illustrator, Sketch & Photoshop for most projects based on their different specialties.

47,348 PointsI would agree that Sketch is the natural successor to Fireworks. It's certainly not Photoshop which is too bloated and cumbersome for web design. I do though still see the need to include Illustrator in my workflow.

6,686 PointsI have been using Sketch and there are certain features that it is missing which is why I wouldn't say it can replace Illustrator altogether but it is nice to have as a tool.

13,124 PointsCertainly, it's not an all-in-one solution by any stretch, but definitely a nice addition to the toolkit!
